I’m a Ghent based artist. After I finished my animation masters degree at Kask School of Arts, I started another masters degree at Ghent University, to further develop my knowledge of film, new media and innovation. My main focus is storytelling and how it is best implemented, depending on the medium. Thats's why I have such a broad skill set: writing, drawing, audio and video editing.

 

My personal work has a strong connection with reality, with a documentary like feel. I tell stories not only about complex conflicts between characters, but also within the character itself. Such as relationships and sexual desires, coming of age and mental health. Because the subject is quite heavy, I place a lot of value on humor.

My source of inspiration is observation; struggles that happen to people around me, but also in my own life. Since my subjects are so rich, my graphic style simple .
